Getting here

Streetcar, car, bike or ride

  • By streetcar

The Canal Street line runs between the edge of the French Quarter and Mid-City. Ride toward City Park or the cemeteries and get off in Mid-City; we are a short walk from the line. It is the easiest way back to your hotel after dinner, so no one has to be the driver.

  • Parking

Free street parking on the surrounding blocks is usually easy on weeknights and slower on Friday and Saturday after 7 pm. Read the signs for street-cleaning days and keep driveways clear. We do not have a private lot.

  • Taxi and rideshare

Drivers can stop right outside on our side street. Ask the host stand and we will call you a cab at the end of the night or wait inside with you until your ride arrives.

  • By bike

There are bike racks on the block. Mid-City is flat and well connected to the Lafitte Greenway and the paths around City Park, so cycling in for brunch is popular.

  • Step-free access

The front door, the main dining room, the Gaslight Room and the restrooms are step-free. The Balcony Room is up one flight of stairs and has no elevator.

  • Call or email

The host stand answers (504) 555-0137 from 3 pm on service days. For anything else, email hello@bayouember.example.
